1864年幕末の京都で
新選組を一躍有名にした事件が起きた
「池田屋事件」！！
池田屋事件は旅館「池田屋」に潜伏していた
長州藩・土佐藩などの
尊王攘夷派志士を新選組が襲撃した事件。
新選組は近藤隊と土方隊に分かれて
尊王攘夷派の捜索を開始した。
22時過ぎ、近藤隊は池田屋で尊攘派志士を発見。戦闘が開始された。
20数名の尊攘派に対し、当初踏み込んだのは
近藤勇・沖田総司・永倉新八・藤堂平助の
4名で、残りは屋外を固めたと伝わっている。
その「池田屋」の現場に行ってみた。

“Ikedaya case”.
In the Ikedaya case, the Shinsengumi attacked a reigning insurgent, such as the Choshu and Tosa clan, who were hiding in the inn “Ikedaya”.
Shinsengumi is divided into Kondo Corps and Hijikata Corps
The search for the reigning foreigners started.
After 22:00, the Kondo squad found a religious foreigner at Ikedaya. The battle has begun.
It is reported that four of the 20 rejected foreigners initially stepped in, including Isamu Kondo, Soji Okita, Shinpachi Nagakura and Heisuke Todo.
